HOW IS THE PROCEDURE?
PDO threads are inserted into the skin with sterile needles or cannulas.
Once inserted, the barbed threads anchor to the skin and the practitioner contours the face. The excess threads are then cut off.
Depending on the areas treated, the procedure may take 15-30 minutes to contour.
There is a slight discomfort during the procedure, but because of the improved techniques and MEDiTHREAD’s innovative needles, patients are experiencing less pain.
WHAT TO AVOID BEFORE AND AFTER A PDO THREADS LIFT PROCEDURE?
Three days before the procedure, like other treatments involving injections, avoid alcohol, supplements such as Vitamin E, Omega Fish oils. Two weeks after a PDO Thread Lift procedure you are also discouraged from undergoing any dental treatment (which requires you to open your mouth excessively.) It is strongly advised to sleep on your back to help the swelling to subside and to avoid the putting pressure on the face that might cause misalignment of the threads.
COMBINATION TREATMENTS WITH PDO THREAD LIFT.
A PDO thread lift can be performed alone, or together with other Aesthetic medicine treatment, such as anti-aging filler injections, Botox etc…
